Just got a note from Amazon that they're beta testing the new Kindle Create app.
Now, my biggest objection to it was that it saved in a format that wasn't accepted by the Paperback app, so I had to keep both .docx and Kindle files if I wanted to use Create - as a result I stopped using Create after one session.
This limitation has gone away in the new version, apparently. Still, I'm not sure that the new version of Create is much better than the old one, but I gave it a try. Seems to work pretty well, but it's still pretty buggy.
I'll reserve judgement.
